Heart of Tataviam Pow Wow

Two-day Native American cultural gathering hosted by the Fernandeno Tataviam Band of Mission Indians on ancestral homelands at the village site of Tochonanga, held at William S. Hart Park since 1994. Free admission. Marketplace of 40+ craft and food vendors offering handmade jewelry, clothing and traditional items by Indigenous artists, alongside fry bread and Indian tacos. NOTE: formerly named the Hart of the West Pow Wow - renamed to center the Tataviam people. Same event, same venue, same organizer; do not create a second row under the old name.
