Helen Christmas Market (Christkindlmarkt)

About

19th annual holiday market held in downtown Helen across two weekends in late November and early December. Vendors sell handmade Christmas gifts, decorations, savory and sweet foods. Split between the Marktplatz (white canopy tents only) and Unicoi Hill Park; space assignments rotate yearly. Artist-made work takes precedence — mass-produced items subject to availability. You'll need robust inventory to cover both weekends; Helen draws heavy crowds during this season. Setup by 9:30am; no electricity available (bring a generator if needed). Commitment to both weekends required; no-shows forfeit future invitations.
