Homecoming Gospel Singing (Lumbee Homecoming)

About

The Homecoming Gospel Singing is part of Lumbee Homecoming, which started in 1968 and has grown into one of the largest events held in Southeastern North Carolina. The week-long celebration features a parade, outdoor gospel music concert, food and craft vendors, athletic events, a car show, and dozens of other events. Held in Lumberton as part of the broader early-July festival celebrating Lumbee culture and heritage, this gospel singing draws Lumbee community members from across the country for a long-standing annual tradition.
