Running for 51 years in November, Homosassa Arts, Crafts & Seafood Festival is held in historic Old Homosassa along the banks of the Homosassa River. A juried festival that does not accept buy-and-sell vendors, with a $4,000 juried art competition and artwork in pottery, stained glass, wood and metal sculpture, jewelry, plus hand and edible crafts, local seafood, and live music. Local fishing captains have partnered with artists since 1975 — authentic Nature Coast seafood is a hallmark. Proceeds benefit community scholarships and organizations.
