Honoka'a Western Week

About

Running for over 50 years, Honokaʻa Western Week celebrates paniolo heritage on Hawaii's Big Island with a full week of events in May. The festival kicks off with a parade and block party featuring a talent showdown, then continues with competitions like the Portuguese Bean Soup Contest and Paniolo Baking Showdown, plus kids' activities throughout town. Vendors reserve spots on Mamane Street. Everything is free and open to the public.
