Hope Watermelon Festival

About

Held in Hope each August, the 50th annual Hope Watermelon Festival spans three days of arts & crafts, food, live entertainment, and family activities — think Watermelon Olympics, a talent contest, a car show, and a Kidz Zone. Local civic clubs run dinners featuring pulled pork and fried catfish alongside vendor booths and concessions. No one-day-only spaces available; vendors and concessionaires must commit to the full run. The festival culminates Saturday night with a concert headliner.
