Hopkins County Fair is a nine-day event held in late summer in Madisonville, Kentucky, featuring agricultural competition, carnival rides, arena events, and beauty pageants. The fair actively seeks food vendors and requires vendors to meet all local and state health regulations. Special requirements: cotton candy, pizza, funnel cakes, caramel/candy apples, corndogs, and popcorn are prohibited to honor carnival agreements. The fair was honored as Overall Runner-Up Most Progressive Fair and Zone 1 Division B Most Progressive Fair at the Kentucky Fairs and Horse Shows Association convention.
