Inverness Festival of the Arts

About

Since 1971, the Inverness Festival of the Arts has been one of Central Florida's premier juried art shows, held in mid-November in the historic Courthouse Square in downtown Inverness. Nearly 100 booth spaces accommodate talented artists and craftspeople from across the nation, with fine arts expanding to include fine crafts, featuring talented artists and craftspeople from across the country. Exhibitors work in glass, drawing, fiber, paint, jewelry, sculpture, wood, ceramics, and digital art. There is no application fee. The festival features a prestigious awards program that gives out thousands of dollars in prizes, including a "Best in Show" title and "Awards of Distinction," with dedicated recognitions for military veterans and emerging young artists.
