Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival, held annually in historic downtown Fernandina Beach since 1964, is in its 61st year. The Fine Arts and Crafts show features 300+ award-winning artists and craftspeople and is consistently rated by "Sunshine Artist Magazine" in the Top 100 of North America's best events. 75 booths of antiques and collectibles provide additional vendor variety. Free admission attracts boatloads of fresh seafood and shrimp, prepared by local nonprofits and civic organizations. Draws 135,000+ visitors over the two-day event.
