Johnson County Peach Festival

Held each July in downtown Clarksville, Johnson County Peach Festival is Arkansas' oldest outdoor festival, running since 1938. The festival features vendors, street dances, live music, and contests including frog jumping, peach eating, and a greased-pig chase. Approximately 10,000 people attended in 2011. Events include a parade, a cardboard boat regatta, a four-mile race, and a fishing derby.
