Joshua Tree National Park Art Expo

About

Juried art exposition run by the Joshua Tree National Park Council for the Arts at the historic 29 Palms Art Gallery, themed on artwork depicting or inspired by the natural aspects or cultural history of Joshua Tree National Park. More than 50 artists and artworks are selected, competing for up to $4,000 in cash awards across 2-Dimensional, Photography and 3-Dimensional categories, with juried work featured in a printed and online exhibition catalog. Open to living artists 18 and over; work must be original, created within the last five years, not previously exhibited in a JTNP juried exhibition, and offered for sale. Separately, an Art Market with 20 to 25 artist booths runs on the gallery grounds during opening weekend, open to juried artists to sell additional work; artists provide their own 10x10 pop-up tent and equipment. The annual Weed Show runs concurrently down the street at the Old Schoolhouse Museum. VERIFIED THIS SESSION: online entry form is live and includes the booth opt-in.
