Held in Hutchinson in mid-September, the Kansas State Fair is the largest single event in Kansas, attracting approximately 350,000 people annually. Running since 1913, the fair operates all 10 days rain or shine and draws a statewide crowd from all 105 Kansas counties. With over 1,000 vendor locations, it combines agriculture exhibitions, livestock competitions, a world-class midway, national entertainment, and commercial exhibits. Vendors can sell products, food, rides, or attractions; all booth types operate throughout the entire fair.
