Held on Garfield Avenue between Kearny Avenue and Chestnut Street, adjacent to the Kearny Public Library, Kearny Farmers Market is open every Thursday through October from noon to 6 p.m. The market features Jersey Fresh produce, baked goods, and artisanal products. Vendors include local farmers, a nursery, a brewery, and specialty artisans. The market is co-sponsored by the Kearny Library and Kearny Urban Enterprise Zone.
