Running 44 years, the Kelso Highlander Festival & Scottish Games celebrates the Scottish heritage of this namesake city every second weekend of September at Tam O'Shanter Park. The free festival draws Highland Games competitors, live Celtic music, Highland dance competitions, a parade of clans, and a mix of food & beverage vendors and artisan makers. Scottish craft vendors and regional food vendors have a solid audience here.
