Running for over 73 years in Ninilchik, the Kenai Peninsula Fair is known as the "Biggest Little Fair in Alaska," drawing thousands of visitors from across the state. The fair seeks antique/collectibles, crafts, fine art, fine craft and homegrown products exhibitors, plus 15 food booths. Activities include live music, pig races, western-style rodeo with bull riding, the Backwoods Girl competition, and an annual parade. Participants enter over 800 exhibits to compete for blue ribbons.
