Founded in 1992, Haymaker Farmers' Market is Portage County's oldest producer's-only farmers' market and operates year-round on Saturdays in Kent. Outdoor season runs April–November on Franklin Ave, 9am–1pm; indoor season December–March at the United Methodist Church of Kent, 10am–1pm. Vendors offer produce (organic and conventional), baked goods (traditional, vegan, gluten-free), cheeses, pastured beef/pork/chicken and eggs, maple syrup and products, honey, jams, dried herbs, preserves, roasted coffee, tea, prepared foods, handmade soaps/lotions/bath products, and candles. Over 45 vendors participate. Free live local music every Saturday outdoors from 9am–noon.
