Kossuth County Fair

About

Kossuth County Fair, held in Algona, runs a full week in early August with free admission and features prize-winning livestock, 4-H projects, open-class exhibits (produce, baked goods, textiles, hand-crafts, antiques), a new carnival with rides, truck and tractor pulls, a fair parade, and live entertainment. The fairgrounds also host an Agriculture & Motorsports Museum and speedway racing. Plan to camp on-site if you want to stay through the week.
