Kossuth County Farmers' Market

About

Held in Algona on the Carnegie Lawn, Kossuth County Farmers Market runs Saturdays mornings (May through October) and Wednesday afternoons (July through early September). The market features locally grown produce, baked goods, jellies and jams, fresh popcorn, snacks, and handmade crafts. Vendors must contact the Market Manager at least 24 hours before setup for approval. Limited electricity is available onsite. All food items must comply with Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals guidelines; baked goods and home-canned items follow state cottage-food rules. Vendors receive an assigned spot for the season and may set up to 3 tables along the sidewalk, with additional tables on the grass as needed.
