About
Held each December in downtown Danbury, Light the Lights Winter Festival features a ceremonial lighting of a 40-foot holiday tree led by Mayor Roberto Alves. An annual tradition that draws families from across the region, it marks one of the city's largest seasonal celebrations. The evening includes holiday music, cultural performances, seasonal dances, and a holiday market where local vendors offer handmade gifts, food, and seasonal items. Santa arrives by firetruck as part of a live parade. Free event.
