Loose Caboose Festival

About

Held in downtown Newton each April, the Loose Caboose Arts & Crafts Festival is now in its 23rd year. The Newton Chamber of Commerce runs the festival, drawing around 100+ vendors—local artisans, food vendors, and makers from Mississippi and Alabama—alongside a carnival, motorcycle show, car show, and live music. The festival celebrates Newton's railroad heritage and historic downtown. Vendor mix includes arts, crafts, and food.
