Louisiana Corn Festival

About

Held each June in Bunkie, the Louisiana Corn Festival is the state's only corn festival and has been running since 1986. Expect live music, a street dance, corn-eating and corn-shucking contests, a children's parade, pirogue races, and a statewide softball tournament alongside arts & crafts and food vendors selling under sprawling oak trees. All festival proceeds go back into the community.
