Louisiana Forest Festival

About

Held each April in Winnfield, Louisiana Forest Festival celebrates the state's timber industry with professional lumberjack competitions, forestry equipment displays, and timber sports. Vendors sell handmade crafts and food throughout the fairgrounds. The festival also features live music, a chainsaw carving competition, and family activities. Reorganized in 1980, the event draws an established crowd looking to support local vendors and learn about Louisiana's leading industry.
