About

The largest and most historic festival on Mackinac Island since 1948. 10-day celebration honoring lilacs (some dating back 200+ years). Grand Parade (horse-drawn), lilac-themed art exhibits, artisan events, garden tours, walking tours, live music, poster contest, coronation of the Lilac Queen. Ends with Grand Parade on final Sunday. 2026 theme: 'Stop and Smell the Lilacs'.
