Mahopac Street Festival

About

Held each October in downtown Mahopac by the Greater Mahopac-Carmel Chamber of Commerce, this street festival draws thousands of residents and visitors for food, crafts, and local businesses. Mix includes food vendors (subject to Putnam County health permits), craft makers (must make or sell crafts only—no mass-produced goods), and nearby businesses (get one free space on Route 6N). First-come, first-served 10x10 vendor spaces. Setup window is tight (9am–11am, late arrivals risk location change with no refund). All vendors need liability insurance. No electricity available—bring your own quiet generator. No music at vendor tables, no pets unless pre-approved, and no alcohol sales permitted.
