Maine Lobster Festival

About

Held in Rockland at Harbor Park, the Maine Lobster Festival is a five-day international seafood celebration running the first weekend of August. Fresh Maine lobster is the centerpiece, but expect a full vendor mix: craft vendors, arts, live entertainment daily, a seafood cooking contest, Maine's largest parade, the Great International Lobster Crate Race, and Steins & Vines featuring local beer, wine, and spirits. The festival draws visitors from around the globe and runs entirely on 1,000+ volunteers.
