Maine Oyster Festival

About

Held each June in downtown Freeport, the Maine Oyster Festival is a two-day celebration bringing together dozens of Maine oyster farms representing all regions of the coast. Shop with local artisans and food trucks, plus vendors selling oyster-themed products and crafts made from shells and farm by-products. Free admission and strong foot traffic draw international visitors. Live music, maritime nonprofits, and family programming round out the weekend.
