Running since 1947, the Maine Potato Blossom Festival is held in Fort Fairfield each mid-July when the potato blossoms are in full bloom. It's the premier summertime event in Aroostook County, celebrating agricultural heritage and honoring veterans with live music, food, games, and a spectacular parade. One of the oldest and most established festivals in Maine, it welcomes food vendors, sidewalk artisans and crafters, and yard-sale vendors. The festival offers over 60 events catering to all ages, drawing a strong tourist and local crowd seeking authentic agricultural heritage experiences.
