Manu'a Cession Day Celebration

Week-long Manu'a Islands commemoration of the 1904 Deed of Cession, run by a Manu'a organising committee across Ta'u, Ofu, Olosega and Fitiuta under shared recruitment. The official programme opens with an 'ava ceremony and flag raising at Avaloa Malaetele, followed by church services and fa'afiafiaga performances. Across the islands the week carries cricket and volleyball tournaments, BBQ, live DJ sets and agricultural farm fairs. This entry represents the series; Ta'u is the central stop.
