Marquette-Atwood Neighborhood Art Walk

Started in 2011 by two potters, the 15th Annual Marquette-Atwood Art Walk is held on the first Sunday in May in Madison's near Eastside. 60 artists display their works at 39 residential locations — many displays outdoors —showcasing pottery, watercolor and acrylic painting, jewelry, photography, pen and ink illustrations, fiber arts and wearables, sculpture, and stained glass. Self-guided, neighborhood-based format draws repeat artists and shoppers looking to buy directly from makers.
