The 50th and final Massachusetts Sheep & Woolcraft Fair in Cummington brought together approximately 160 exhibitors showcasing sheep breeds, wool crafts, and fiber arts, with hands-on workshops led by skilled artisans, vendor booths offering crafts and local food, and demonstrations including shearing, fleece judging, sheepdog trials, and spinning. The volunteer-run event was chosen by Yankee Magazine as one of the top twenty things to do in Massachusetts and drew about 26,000 attendees over the weekend. Founded in 1976, it became a regional tradition celebrating fiber arts, shepherding and rural heritage.
