Matthews Alive Festival

About

Held in downtown Matthews each Labor Day weekend, Matthews Alive Festival is a 50+ year tradition drawing 125,000+ attendees across four days. Expect 150+ arts and crafts vendors, 25 food vendors, Southeast's largest Labor Day parade, four stages of entertainment, and a family fun zone. A portion of proceeds benefits local nonprofits — the festival has contributed over $2.2 million to the community to date.
