McDonough Geranium Festival

About

Held each May in downtown McDonough, the Geranium Festival runs since 1977 and has grown from 17 booths to over 400 vendor spaces. The festival is a free community event sponsored by the McDonough Lions Club, with booth proceeds supporting local charities and services for the visually impaired. Vendor categories include craft vendors selling handmade, high-quality products; food vendors offering everything from sweet treats to savory meals; and local community businesses. Strong foot traffic—the festival draws approximately 25,000 visitors annually.
