Midnight Madness

About

Held in downtown Houlton's historic Market Square, Midnight Madness transforms the space into a sprawling marketplace of local flavors, live musical performances, and artisan crafts. The street fair draws 7,000–8,000 visitors each July 3rd, with downtown shops participating with outdoor retail, a tradition dating back to its origins as a late-night shopping event. The Miracle Mile road race caps the evening, followed by fireworks. Food vendors, craft artisans, and live music draw vendors serious about foot traffic and an engaged local crowd.
