Midwest Old Threshers Reunion

Mt. Pleasant, Iowa

About

Held each September ending Labor Day, the Midwest Old Threshers Reunion is one of the largest celebrations of agricultural heritage in Mt. Pleasant. The event has run every year since 1950 except 2020 — a 75-year tradition drawing thousands from around the world. Over 100 crafters from the Midwest exhibit handmade furniture, jewelry, pottery, and clothing, plus 200 spaces for crafters with a juried show. Antique dealers (around 30) sell jewelry, dishes, antique toys, and memorabilia. The grounds also host steam engines, trolleys, narrow-gauge trains, gas engines, antique cars and trucks, and live demonstrations — 2,000+ exhibits and attractions total.
