Mothman Festival is an annual event held every third weekend in September in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, commemorating the legendary 1966 Mothman sighting. The festival draws visitors from around the world to Main Street for live bands, guest speakers, cosplay, museum exhibits, and vendor booths celebrating the red-eyed cryptid that defined the region's folklore.
