Held in downtown Thomas, Mountaineer Days is a free Fourth of July celebration—now in its 69th year—featuring local art and craft vendors, food offerings, live music spanning bluegrass to Appalachian rock, a hometown parade, and fireworks. The Railroad Grade comes alive with shoppers exploring local makers, and the day-long lineup draws a mix of regional bands and neighborhood performers.
