National Lentil Festival
Pullman, Washington
About
Since 1989, the National Lentil Festival in Pullman, Washington has celebrated one of the region's signature crops: lentils. The festival brings together a thriving food and artisan marketplace and electric live performances, anchored by the iconic "World's Largest Lentil Chili Bowl." The festival takes place every year the weekend before classes resume at Washington State University. Friday includes live music, a children's carnival, and free lentil chili; Saturday features a grand parade, lentil cook-off, 5K fun run, beer garden, and family activities.
