NC Blackberry Festival (23rd Annual)

In its 23rd year, held each July in downtown Lenoir, this free two-day festival draws a strong food-and-crafts crowd. Hundreds of vendors across the downtown footprint sell produce, baked goods, crafts, and festival food alongside five live bands and a dance performance. The signature draw: World's Largest Patchwork Cobbler with over 2,000 free servings after Saturday's parade. Expect strong foot traffic from locals and regional visitors who come for the blackberry-themed programming.
