North Carolina's Official Fall Liver Mush Festival held annually on the 3rd Saturday in October in Uptown Shelby. Since 1985. 90+ craft, food, and beverage vendors. Recognized in regional and national media including Andrew Zimmern's Bizarre Foods. Highlights include liver mush eating contest, recipe contest and cookoff, Kids Zone, live music, pet costume contest and parade with RollOver Pets. Free to attend. 2025 attendance 14,000+. Standard vendor spots 12x12. Juried festival. Vendor deadlines: Early Bird April 15, Second Review June 1, Final Review August 1.
