About
The Nebraska State Fair is the state's largest annual event, running 11 days at Fonner Park in Grand Island and ending on Labor Day each year. The 2026 fair runs August 28 through September 7. Held in Grand Island since moving permanently from Lincoln in 2010, it covers agriculture, entertainment, and state heritage, with commercial and retail vendors, handmade crafts, food vendors, and exhibits. Note: Primarily commercial space. Eleven days is a major commitment — plan for staffing rotations and deep inventory rather than a weekend setup.
