About

Historic Smithville hosts over 26 free events throughout the year, including seasonal festivals that draw crafters, food vendors, and nonprofits. The Renaissance Faire (April) and Adventurefest (May) feature artisan vendors; Mayfest and Oktoberfest (May & October) welcome crafting, food, and nonprofit vendors. The Galloway Green Market runs Thursdays June–September. Art Walk (April & September) is a curated show emphasizing lowbrow/pop art and artists outside traditional venues—75 spots, selective acceptance based on talent and diversity.
