NJ State Barbecue Championship & Anglesea Blues Festival

About

Held each July in North Wildwood at 2nd and Olde New Jersey Avenues, the NJ State Barbecue Championship pairs a KCBS-sanctioned competition with the Anglesea Blues Festival—national and regional acts on the free outdoor main stage plus neighboring clubs. Barbecue teams compete in ribs, chicken, brisket, and pork; the Grand Champion earns an invitation-only shot at the American Royale World Championship in Kansas City. A very limited number of craft and open-market vendor spaces are available—contact njbbq@njbbq.com to inquire. Food vendor spaces typically sell out early.
