The oldest farmers' market in the country operating continuously at the same site (since 1753); George Washington sent Mount Vernon produce here. 70+ vendors of produce, prepared foods, meat, cheese, bread, flowers and art. Temporarily relocated to the 100 block of N. Royal Street / Tavern Square during City Hall and Market Square renovations.
