Now in its 31st year, Ouray Ice Festival transforms the town each January into an ice climbing mecca with people from around the world gathering to celebrate the sport. You can wander the Vendor Village and demo gear from outdoor brands, and watch the mixed climbing competition in the Scottish Gullies or catch presentations and movies from elite climbers downtown at night. The largest ice climbing event on the continent, it draws over 100 interactive and educational climbing clinics alongside vendor exhibitions.
