The Palace City Farmers Market is a seasonal open-air market at Corn Palace Plaza in Mitchell, South Dakota, held Saturdays. Local growers, craftsmen, and artisans sell fresh produce, eggs, meats, canned goods, jellies and jams, baked goods, and handcrafted items, with an alternating schedule of live music and yoga. Vendors must sell what they grew or made — no wholesale goods for resale, and food trucks are not permitted. There are roughly 20 vendor spaces, with overflow along the Corn Palace and in adjacent parking areas. A Market Ambassador Program helps vendors with booth assignments each Saturday.
