Panacea Blue Crab Festival

About

Held in Panacea each September, the Blue Crab Festival begins with a parade down U.S. Highway 98, then moves to Woolley Park on the waterfront with live music and clog dancers, local arts and crafts vendors and fresh Wakulla County blue crab and seafood. One of the oldest and longest-running festivals to dot the Wakulla County landscape, it celebrates and honors Panacea's crab industry. The famed "Blue Crab Pickin' Contest" is a signature event. The festival draws nearly 8,000 attendees.
