Pendleton Round-Up

Pendleton, Oregon

About

Over 100 years old, the Pendleton Round-Up is held the second full week in September in Pendleton, Oregon. The rodeo brings roughly 50,000 people every year to the city and is a member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) and was inducted into the ProRodeo Hall of Fame in 2008. The Round-Up week extends beyond the rodeo to include the Happy Canyon Night Show Pageant, Indian Pow-Wows and vendor booths, the Westward-Ho! Parade, and nightly shows on Main Street. Vendor opportunities exist in Round-Up Way, located in Roy Raley Park adjacent to the grounds—space for Western wear, handcrafted jewelry, custom leather goods, and authentic Native American art. Pendleton's main street is closed to motorized traffic and becomes a carnival grounds with vendors, rides and live music throughout the week.
