Pinehurst Barbecue Festival — Pitmaster Invitational

About

Held in Pinehurst's Village each September, the Pinehurst Barbecue Festival brings together seven of North Carolina's most accomplished pitmasters for a three-day celebration of barbecue, bourbon, and grilling. The weekend includes a gourmet pitmaster dinner, a grilling masterclass at Moore County Airport, bourbon tastings, and the main Pitmaster Invitational featuring meat samplings and traditional Southern sides in one of the state's most picturesque settings.
