Plain City Corn Carnival

About

Plain City's Corn Carnival returns in September as a one-time revival tied to the America 250 celebration—the first since 1986. The original carnivals (1914–1919) were five-day county-fair affairs; this 2026 edition honors that agricultural heritage with food and craft vendors, live music from Zack Attack Band, contests (corn eating, pet costume, talent show), a historical scavenger hunt through Uptown, penny-farthing bicycle demonstrations, and tethered hot-air balloon rides. Plain City is Ohio's only official America 250 site.
