Running since 1951, Prairie Grove Clothesline Fair is a Labor Day weekend craft fair at Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park rooted in Appalachian arts traditions. The fair draws 60+ craft exhibitors and thousands of visitors — it's been a fixture in northwest Arkansas for decades, held alongside square dance exhibitions and competitions, including the Peggy Parks Memorial Square Dance Competition honoring a local fourth-grade teacher who started the tradition in 1958.
